I've been a polymer clay artist for over 25 years, falling in love with a medium that is fun and fulfilling. I used to teach polymer clay back in the 80s and 90s but now I just like to design in my studio. Living near a nature refuge, I am surrounded by the sounds of nature, raccoons chattering outside my window, the wind rustling the leaves in the woods, and ducks swimming and splashing in the river 50 feet from my window. This is the backdrop of my creative world.
Not only do I enjoy working with polymer clay but I love photography, digital art, and mixed media and I sometimes incorporate all three. I spend about 8 to 10 hours a day working on art and never tire of it. I love to make inspirational and motivational art, since we all need a little beauty or something uplifting in our lives. But I have a little spooky side too, which you will find in my foggy prints or art dolls. I especially love to create this type of art during the Halloween season.
