When I received the dress, some of the stitching on the back was broken and sequins were loose. Also, there was a black stain on the bottom of the dress, but it was small. I still wore the dress and the blemishes weren't particularly noticeable. If you have more time after receiving your item before your event, I recommend getting it altered. I am 5'5 and the dress was about 3 inches too long but I didn't have time to get it hemmed. Also, the bust area was very large, probably meant for someone with a longer torso. Still, the dress was good quality and I would probably buy from this shop again, but a little further in advance.
