About Javanika Japonika Batik Sewing and Tsumami Zaiku
Hello everyone ♡＾▽＾♡
I’m Indonesian and I live with my husband in a small city surrounded by mountains and greenery. It's called Kurayoshi in the West Japan.
I LOVE my Indonesian heritage: batik and I adore Japanese tsumami kanzashi and Japanese natural fashion. I combine both in my works to reflect the marriage of two cultures.
I adapt the method of tsumami kanzashi to make fabric ornaments. I mostly make hair ornaments such as headpiece, hair fascinator, barette, headbands, etc. I incorporate Japanese, Indonesian, and Western in these works.
Besides making hair ornaments, my daily activities include housework, spending time with hubby, and teaching English twice a week at an English school nearby.
