My story began in 2006 when I began having health issues that were unexplainable. I was working as a barber and knew that something was wrong because I did not feel like myself and was getting even more tired and having more strange symptoms that even doctors could not understand. I started a new job and tried to ignore my symptoms for about a year until it became unbearable. In 2008 I began experimenting with beads and began making pieces of jewelry, and fell in love...at that time I still had no idea what was going on with my body, but instead of worrying, I got busy being crafty and painting. Finally, in 2010 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am very lucky that God has given me the talent of making handmade jewelry..it has been a great therapy for my mind and also my body.
