I love to crochet, and have been doing it for many years. Creating and selling my items to wonderful customers has always been a passion of mine. I love making people smile, warm cozy crocheted items have that effect on people.

Tell us a bit about yourself and The Unique Crochet Boutique ?

I love to crochet, and create wonderful products. I love knowing that the items I create put smiles on peoples faces. Either as a gift or as a little splurge for yourself. I have also been working on some patterns created by myself and a line of vintage patterns. I can't wait to introduce them to you.

How did you get started in doing what you do? How long have you been creating?

I am self taught. My sister would always be creating afghans. I don't have the attention span for such large projects. These small scarves and head wraps are perfect for me. I have been creating for over 10 years.

Where do you get your inspiration?

From just about anywhere. Fashion, nature, and sometimes my nieces and children. I like to create little animals, they bring a huge smile to my son's face. I also like to write patterns so other crafters can enjoy the art of crochet.

What was your first creation? Do you have a favourite?

My first was a basic scarf. It's amazing how much you evolve over the years. My husband told me if you don't step out of your comfort zone you never grow. He's so right. My favorite has to be my ruffle scarflettes. I love those.

What have you created recently?

My newest item is the Do Bop Darling. I love this design. It is simple and cute. I also wrote a pattern or two for some other new products including the Do Bop Darling. I can't wait to introduce it to you.
