THE RACE HORSE TOTE is one of my favorite bags!! There will never be another one like it.

I designed and handcrafted this bag myself using a vintage Ralph Lauren Polo silk tie. The label from the tie is stitched next to one of the pockets on the inside of the bag.

I mixed the silk with indoor outdoor dark tan fabric. The pocket on the back is made from paisley Fabric that feels like suede.

I've used two layers of padded grosgrain ribbon for the straps.

The inside of this bag is lined with iridescent quilted taffeta, and has two interior pockets.

The bag has a snap closure.

I used a beautiful glass Black Eyed Susan button in the center of the rosette.

The silk on this bag has been treated with Scotch Guard.

This bag measures 17"W x 13"T x 4"D The straps are 26" long.
