Description:
This very tiny footed 1930's Art Deco porcelain egg cup has very shiny pale biscuit coloured, lustre glaze. It is 4mm higher than the Sylko cotton reel shown with it. Possibly a quail's egg might just fit it.
It is very unusual and I have never seen another like it, although I have been collecting egg cups since the sixties.
It measures approx 1.5 ins high (3.7cm),with a bowl approx 1ins (2.3cm) It is in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips and all the imperfections occured during manufacture.The
