Hello, I'm Elizabeth, the creator and maker behind Mimi and Lucy. I live in a little house in central California with my husband and our many cats.

My shop is named for two of those cats, little sister cats that we found in our backyard along with their brother Buddy when they were 3 weeks old. Their mama wasn't taking very good care of them so we took them in and bottle fed them, got them all fixed up at the vet, and by the time they were old enough to adopt out, couldn't part with them. Mimi is a sweet little mostly white cat with some tabby and some siamese in her, as seen in her blue eyes, and Lucy is a kind of mean tortoise shell cat who doesn't get along with any of the other cats so she lives out in the front yard.
