Hi there
My name is Sara and I live in Madrid, the capital of sunny Spain.
A BIT ABOUT ME:
Since I was a child, drawing, painting, crafting and so were simply naturaly a part of me.
I cannot remember my childhood without a pen on my hands, or a piece of clay.
I have a degree on Fine Arts and Desing where I got a master on Interior Desing. For the last 14 years is what I made for living,
besides I never left aside other areas of arts and crafts.
When birthdays and Christmas are coming I like to do portraits and drawings for friends, as well fabric bags ,
felt coasters, earrings or whatever.
They were (my friends) who, I while ago, encouraged me to do more jewelry and focus on that area, so I did it so.
Just a while later, I´m working less and less as an Interior Designer to have more and more time to dedicate myself to my passion: jewelry design.
I do myself all the implicated work,I´m the designer, the supplies buyer, the maker ,the photographer, the mail sender....
Because I DO believe in "Handmade-Vs-MassProduction" I´m here,
not only because is something I feel passionated about,
but because I love things with soul, lasting and made with care, on sustainability and a more self-sufficient mankind,
I believe in the way a live day by day.
WHERE I GET INSPIRATION:
From everywhere!!! For me beauty is all around, in the common and ordinary things surrounding us day by day, in our houses,
in the street,in the supermarket, in the always changeable outlook from our window. To see this beauty, we just need to have
a look at the world surrounding us with different eyes.
What I love on desings (mine or anyone else) is the combination of colors and textures. How they work together,
the effect they do combined, always with a pinch of cheerfulness, happy colors and eclecticism.
As my other passion in traveling and learning about other places, people and cultures, I like as well the mixture of different
styles, like modern, rustic, romantic or ethnic together. For me ,contrast (with prudence and caution) has a very special taste that
is always welcome. And of course natural and good quality materials.
