I'm an Army Brat turned Army wife crafting sanity from one duty station and deployment to the next! I've always been creative and been much more interested in what I would like to use something as more than what it was made for.

I enjoy many different projects and will usually have multiple ones going on at the same time. Whenever my family moves my craft room is the first room set up bar my kids rooms only. Both my husband and I are aware that I need that sanctuary and consistency to make it through all the change.

I dabble in a lot of different crafts not only to keep myself busy but also to teach my kids different lessons. While most parents dread that inevitable time their children will cut their own hair I was worrying about mine cutting up their clothes. I sew a lot and they love to help! My son made it through that phase but my daughter is another story (she came a couple dresses and t-shirts short).
