She speaks clouds ~ often soft, but other times loud, like storm and lightning. This is my place for material expression. As a mother and a dreamer, we all need a place to stand upon a mountain top and let pieces of our existence float out into the universe, for better or worse. This is one of mine.
Nature is a focus in my designs and choice of materials. I lean towards organic, locally sourced or reclaimed yarns. I want my products to evoke the gentle nostalgia of being close to earth, with their softness and subtle symbolism of wild things: a bear cub snugly sleeping in his den, a leaf fluttering in the wind, a cloud - lofty with promise - in a lonely sky.
